Personal Mission Statement

To act with integrity at all times, to use every opportunity to be a good example, in conduct and values, to my family and friends and to make a positive contribution towards creating a just and godly society.

Background:

Senior Management

My current role is the Assistant Director (Services) with the Council for Voluntary Services in Lewisham (Voluntary Action Lewisham). As part of the senior management team, my role is to strategically develop the service provision of the organisation. In addition, I line manage the development team, which trains advice and support charities, voluntary and community groups in developing their infrastructure (capacity) to deliver their key objectives. I also co-ordinate a Community Accountancy programme across four boroughs

For eight years I was the general director of the African and Caribbean Evangelical Alliance (ACEA). The alliance is an umbrella and representative body for Black Majority Churches (BMCs) in the UK. These churches are the fastest growing in the Britain and have the largest congregations.

Status

I am married to one wife, Sharon, since December 1989 and we have one son named after me, Mark Anthony
